Boyd solar goes to Iraq

One of the most unlikely places one may think of that Boyd Solar may be, might be Iraq, but where there is a will there is a way and in Solar, Boyd Solar is becoming an ever more popular and respected way. And we are honoured that we are being called beyond our local market.

Boyd Solar corp's Sean Lougheed and Erhard Hermann, just returned from Iraq after meeting with the investment boards and the governors of both Maysan and Basrah Provinces.

Iraq is not only looking to Solar as a possible short term solutions in some of its present power problems but realizes the future long term benefits of the environmentally clean, stable and long lasting technology. We also met with a number of technical people from the power distribution network and technology sector to discuss and evaluate the integration of solar power into the national grid.

The new Iraq is favorable to Canada and acknowledges the world-class skills available here to help propel their country to the status of a modern and prosperous nation.  As a World-class provider of renewable energy systems, Boyd Solar is seeking to be involved in such vision in Canada and abroad.

We admire the spirit of the Iraqi people as we saw in the southern provinces there is a really great attitude of looking forward and the drive to do it. We were really well treated and enjoyed our stay and thank the New Iraqi Government very much.
